The biggest prize of the evening was given out by the 2024 Grammy Awards, and history was created.

At the Los Angeles awards ceremony on Sunday, Taylor Swift won album of the year for her album Midnights, becoming the only artist to ever win the title four times.

The other nominees for the prestigious category included Jon Batiste, boygenius, Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey, Janelle Monáe, Olivia Rodrigo, and SZA.

The 14-time Grammy winner also took a moment to praise her friends Jack Antonoff and Lana Del Rey

Swift revealed she will release her 11 studio album shortly. On April 19, the record, titled The Tortured Poets Department, will be streamed.

In October 2022, Swift published Midnights, a song that she describes as "the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life."

Five separate things inspired the songs on Midnights: self-loathing, thinking about getting even, contemplating what may have been, falling in love, and falling apart.
