On Friday, Apple's virtual reality headset, the Vision Pro, had officially launched in the United States.
For the occasion of the launching of the headset, Apple CEO Tim Cook made an appearance on Friday morning at the company's flagship Fifth Avenue shop in New York City.
Cook referred to the Vision Pro's high sticker price as "tomorrow's technology today." The Vision Pro is available for $3,500.
The Vision Pro is also being accepted as an enterprise product; examples of these firms are Bloomberg, SAP, Walmart, Nike, Vanguard, and Stryker.
With the Vision Pro, he thinks Apple can continue to be "both" a consumer and an enterprise focused firm.
The headset has over 600 games and apps that are specifically made to offer a "spatial computing" experience.
In the wearables sector, the Vision Pro joins the Apple Watch and AirPods.
