The facelifted Kia Seltos is powered by 1.5-liter gasoline and 1.5-liter diesel engines from the current model, which have 116 PS and 144 Nm of output respectively. There is a 6-speed AT torque converter and iMT transmission option for the 1.5-liter diesel engine, and a 6-speed manual and CVT transmission option for the 1.5-liter gasoline engine. A new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with 160PS/230Nm is also available; it may be matched with either a 7-speed DCT or a 6-speed iMT transmission. With a manual gearbox, the NA gasoline engine is rated for 17 mpg, and with a CVT, it is 17.7 mpg. Kia claims that the turbo-petrol unit’s fuel efficiency is 17.9 km/l with the DCT and 17.7 km/l with the iMT. Kia claims that the diesel engine achieves 20.7 mpg.
