This week, Sameer Kamath, a student of Indian origin, Found Dead in the United States nature reserve. This is the seventh incident of this kind this year. But at this point, it’s unknown what caused the death.
In a news release on Tuesday, Warren County Coroner Justin Brummett stated that Kamath was discovered on Monday in Crow’s Grove Nature Preserve, located in Williamsport at 3300 North Warren County Road 50 West, at five o’clock in the evening. In August of last year, Kamath, a US citizen pursuing a doctorate at Purdue University in Indiana, earned his master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
According to US media sources, Kamath’s family was informed of his departure by the coroner’s office, and a forensic autopsy is set for Tuesday afternoon in Crawfordsville. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office and Coroner’s Office are still looking into his death.
This occurs just a few days after Purdue University student Neel Acharya, also of Indian descent, was discovered dead on campus. In another incident, an MBA student in Georgia named Vivek Saini passed away after being attacked by a homeless man, and a 19-year-old Ohio man named Shreyas Reddy was discovered dead.
Concerns about the mental health issues that the more than 300,000 Indian students in the US are experiencing have been highlighted by the growing number of cases.
The body of the victim was taken for an autopsy.
The Warren County Coroner’s Office and the local sheriff’s office are currently looking into the circumstances surrounding Kamath’s death. An autopsy has been ordered for the deceased in order to determine the cause of his unexplained death.
